Before & After School Program
The YMCA of Brandon, in conjunction with the Brandon School Division and the United Way, offers a Before & After School care program at 13 schools. Students are provided with a range of activities directly in the school. YMCA staff cares for school-aged children before the school day from 7:30 am until school begins, and after school from the last bell until 5:30 pm.
Available at the following schools: George Fitton, J.R. Reid, Waverly Park, Riverheights, Riverview, Meadows, Harrison, New Era, Betty Gibson,Green Acres, King George, Kirkcaldy Heights, and Linden Lanes (*Linden Lanes School also provides a Y lunch program).
Monthly Fees 2017 – 2018
- Before School (7:30 am to first bell): $77.00 per child
- After School (last bell until 5:30 pm): $123.00 per child
- Before & After School: $200.00 per child
Lunch Fees 2016 – 2017 *Available at Linden Lanes Only
- 1 Child: $32.00/month
- 2 Children: $47.00/month
- 3 Children: $62.00/month
How to Register
2017—2018 Before & After School Registration
All children that are registered in the Before and After School Program on March 13th, 2017, will have first choice in registering for 2017-2018 school year. Registration forms will be available at the schools in the Y room, on March 13th for parents to pick up.
Registrations will be accepted from March 13th to March 24th at the Member Services desk of the YMCA. No registrations will be accepted from March 25th to April 3rd. Siblings of those who are currently registered and are starting school next year need to register by March 24th.
On April 3rd, registrations will open to the general public for any remaining spots. Waitlists registrations will also start on April 3rd. Registrations will take place on a first come, first served basis. Registration forms are available at the YMCA.
