Before & After School Program
The YMCA of Brandon, in conjunction with the Brandon School Division, offers a recreational Before & After School care program at 16 schools. Students are provided with a range of activities directly in the school. YMCA staff cares for school-aged children before the school day from 7:30 am until school begins, and after school from the last bell until 5:30 pm.

Available at the following schools: Betty Gibson, Forrest Elementary, George Fitton, Green Acres, Harrison, J.R. Reid, King George, Kirkcaldy Heights, Linden Lanes, Maryland Park, Meadows, New Era, Riverheights, Riverview, R.J. Waugh Elementary (Carberry), and Waverly Park.
*Linden Lanes and Betty Gibson also provide a Y lunch program.
Cost
Monthly Fees 2026 – 2027
- Before School (7:30 am to first bell): $103.00 per child
- After School (last bell until 5:30 pm): $162.00 per child
- Before & After School: $258.00 per child

How to Register
Before & After School Registration
Please go to the waitlist page (link below) to place your child on the waitlist. When a space becomes available we will contact you. At that time we will get you to register your child(ren) for the program.
Children must attend the school you are registering for.
Once accepted into the program, you will need to complete the registration package. Payment methods include: visa, mastercard, or pre-authorized debit. You will need credit card information, a void cheque or bank debit form.
