Registration for Before & After School programs for the 2020 – 2021 school year will still open on March 23, 2020. Registration will be available ONLINE ONLY and will open at 5:30 am. Please click here to access online registration.Â Â
Before & After School Program
The YMCA of Brandon, in conjunction with the Brandon School Division and the United Way, offers a Before & After School care program at 17 schools. Students are provided with a range of activities directly in the school. YMCA staff cares for school-aged children before the school day from 7:30 am until school begins, and after school from the last bell until 5:30 pm.
Available at the following schools: George Fitton, J.R. Reid, Waverly Park, Riverheights, Riverview, Meadows, Harrison, New Era, Green Acres, King George, Kirkcaldy Heights, Betty Gibson, Forrest Elementary, R.J. Waugh Elementary (Carberry) and Linden Lanes (*Linden Lanes and Betty Gibson also provide a Y lunch program). Maryland Park will begin in fall, 2020.
The YMCA of Brandon is pleased to be the provider of child care for the new Maryland Park School opening in fall, 2020.
Monthly Fees 2020 – 2021
- Before School (7:30 am to first bell): $86.00 per child
- After School (last bell until 5:30 pm): $133.00 per child
- Before & After School: $219.00 per child
Lunch Fees 2020 – 2021Â *Available at Linden Lanes & Betty Gibson Only
- 1 Child: $36.00/month
- 2 Children: $51.00/month
- 3 Children: $66.00/month
How to Register
2020â€”2021 Before & After School RegistrationÂ
We have changed our registration process for all Before & After School programs.Â
Starting March 23, 2020, we will have an open registration process in that parents can add their child’s name to our waitlist at any time. When spots become available,Â YMCA staff will contact the next person on the waitlist. Waitlists will be open year-round.Â
Parents can register for the waitlist online or come into the YMCA. When you register for the waitlist, it does not guarantee you a spot in the program. YMCA staff will contact you when and if a spot becomes available.Â
Children must attend the school you are registering for.Â
Once accepted into the program, you will need the registration form and a pre-authorized payment form. Payment methods include:Â visa, mastercard, or pre-authorized debit. You will need credit card information, a void cheque or bank stamp on the form.
